Default Need some Advice RE: ICE Please

Doe sny one know of any companies in our area that have experience with installing stereo's, speakers etc in Scoobies

Not very hot on this topic, so when i try to read some threads on the ICE bit i just get lost.

Or indeed if any of you guys could give me some advice on what to get, sounds daft i know but i have an expensive JVC head unit that i dont know how to operate properly. (gift)

I will prob want to upgrade all speakers and poss run an amp for them all.

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks mate, thats the kind of info im after.

Do you know if the same size speakers fit the bug eye?

If i got some bits together, dya fancy an install jobby. Also how are you at setting head units up, like i said i have a rather expensive unit and havent a clue how to use it.

Tis a JVC thing that plays all mp3 and video clips?

Way beyond me

I'll install it for you mate, no probs. If you want, have a look at my system, and hear how I set mine up to see what you think, it's set up for old skool and rock.

you should be able to get 6 1/4" speakers in the front doors, but you can't have speakers in the rear shelf as it don't have the aperatures that classics have.
I'm not sure what size speakers you can get in the back doors, but I'll find out for definate.

For setting systems up, I have bass mechanics setup CD with various tones/ sounds/ effects for bass, and occasionally use Vanessa Mae tocatta vogue to set up the mid to high frequencies

How long is the avearge install, including amp and wiring.

Would like to have amp running all component speakers and add seperate amp at a later date for a bit a bass.
