That sounds like a feeble excuse to explain poor mapping to me, if it's a bit upo and down it's likely to be the boost correction tables need adjusting as I have had a similar issue and my mapper knew what to do

Nothing wrong with the Prodrive ones (other than the price lol). I'm pretty sure it is the same as the ones used on a Porsche Turbo...and I know those ones well as we, ahem, stock them "at work" complete with the adapter needed to plug straight in to Subarus

PS - hope that's a "mod friendly" response from my personal account lol.

Was you boost kind of wavey on the gauge?

Mapper is very good and cant see why he would fail to get it right.

Yep, and by tweeking the boost correction tables it was smoothed out a lot not completely because we ran out if time and knew we had more changes to come so agreed to sort it on the next remap

I'm only mapping the td04 so not running silly boost, I guess a classic should be fine for that. Is there any particular classic one to look out for or are they pretty much the same??

The standard Classic 3 port is the best, it's what most mappers advise & RCM told me it's the only one they would use.

Is it ok just to swap the 2 port for the 3 port or is it another case of it needs to be mapped lol

It'll need to be mapped, should be a tweak though rather than a full remap if you've had it done recently
