Wasted time!

It will not fit, the plugs are different and parameters are all wrong for a UK car.

Same plugs, just needs the pins for cam and crank swapped in connector and fuel pin moved.

Mapper needs to trigger imobiliser output but with different cams, turbo, injectors you will be getting this done anyway of course.l

Hi yes I will be getting it remapped as soon as I can, I've been told the ecu was off a P1 and has a ecutek licence on it, I've only got it because of the licence to save on cost

I've a question if everyone is saying I need to get this ecu mapped to my spec to run right ? Does that mean my car is not running right now as I have a standard ecu but I've fitted an 3" exhaust cat back an alloy intercooler and mushroom air filter ?
What is better the P1 ecu or the standard ecu

an induction kit is not a good thing on classics, it can kill the maf and it will need checking that the maf scaling is correct.
id get it mapped asap as it probably needs checking to be safe.
both ecus will be the same once remapped b ut at least you have the ecutek license now.

why are you asking me countless questions then posting on here asking the same questions
its a v5/6 ecu which will fit all v5/6 classic impreza's, there is no immobiliser in the ECU, you need to get it mapped to suit your car, even if it had been mapped for a car with identical mods to yours, you would still need to get it tweaked to suit your car, engine tuning is not an exact science, different engines produce different results with the same parts fitted
