ECU remap for hawakeye R Sport
Can anyone help me, I have a Hawkeye R Sport (non-turbo) 160BHP, im sure that I could push it to get 200BHP, but I cant find anyone who can remap the ecu on this type of scooby. What I would like to know is if it can be done how much it will make (i have been advised that it will not be much, but didnt say how much) and apart from performance air filter, and exhaust system what else could be done to improve the performance, would like to improve the torque but apart form a ecu remap i dont know how that can be done... Any Ides?

I havent used him because he said its not worth it, I wanted to know if anyone has figures as not a lot to him might be 15-20 bhp increase but to me thats not a small amount.
and well thats why im asking as i am not good with the subaru engine's i dont know if it is easy to get 40bhp without a turbo or not, hence why im asking for advise as i am nieve as everyone has been at one point with these engine's no-one instantly knew everything about subaru engines.

its not all about the big bhp gains when mapping,
It`s about drive-ability over the whole rev range,
adding a little timing can make a car feel a lot better, but it`s not actually going make much more bhp at the top end if you were to pop it on the rollers,
a remap fine tunes your ECU to the parts you have on the car.

The guy that told you its not worth it is spot on unfortunately, unless you want to pull the engine to pieces and do this and that to it then 40bhp on a NA engine is asking alot to be honest, you would be lucky to see 15-20hp with exhaust filter map which is as far as you can really go before your in to engine ancillaries like turbo being bolted on, honestly its your money and your car but I would not waste my money is the honest answer, can you see yourself in the same car 2 years down the line? I know I couldn't if I wanted a turbo version, I would go handling and braking route, if you got better breaks your carrying more speed point to point, its not all about power not that you will see much from a non turbo scoob unfortunately, it would probably cost you the same amount as building a forged motor by the time you extract 40hp from it, such as supercharger, throttle bodies ( although i have never seen one on bodies personally ) so I would really think long and hard about it before jumping the gun and you end up regretting it, all the best either way
