Re:1998 Subaru V4 running maffless Gems
Hi.Recently been encountering intermittent starting issues,sometimes with idle revs dropping along with a rich mixture.Now it has reached the point where engine turns over but will not start at all.Checked and all ok with both spark at plugs/fuel.Also tested Cam/Crank sensor again both ok.Hope someone may be able to help in resolving the issue i am experiencing

GEMS isn't famous for its road manners, has it always started ok in the past?

Hi Andy
Apart from minor hiccups in starting during past cold winters nothing to this extent.At a loss as to what trouble may be in not starting at all now

Gem's tend to have issues with starting and idling. Best person to talk 2 or check/ tweek the map is steve simpson. What he doesn'nt know about gems aint worth knowing! Pm me if you want his number. Tim.

My ex rally car runs gem's also had a few issues which steve sorted no bother. Best calling him if you want 2 get hold of him. Tim.
