Right guys my bro scooby had a bigger turbo fitted TD05 before be brought it, but the ecu is standerd its over boosting after plugging the boost presure sensor back in the car keeps jerking, could he buy a apexi boost controller? plug it in the standerd ecu and set the boost/bar or does he need a after market ect?

I would post the ECU model number as its a big help.
If its hitting boost cut @ 1.1Bar then there is a problem.
What set-up was it before he plug the bost sol back in ? manual boost control, or straight on actuator from manifold ?

It may need to be mapped, and the other owner is running low boost to stop any problems.

Increasing the boost , and an after market boost controller can do this without a problem right up to 1.1 Bar, but you risk youre engine going pop, realy needs to be done on a dyno with det cans and monitir the AFR to see its not running lean.
