engine management light is on
Last night my engine management light came on, the day before i had a 3" turbo back exhaust fitted, the exhaust had a lambda hole up th top of the downpipe, i moved it to where it should be on my 03 blobeye, was ok for a day and a half now got this light on, i'm assuming its because of the lambda sensor getting to much fumage cos it aint got a cat now? how do i get rid of the light? its running as before at the moment

As above it's probablly the cat sensor threshold code due to decat, You can get it mapped out as it would need it anyway now IMO
Alternatively get a cheap OBD scanner and delete the code yourself, Only problem with this is that you will need to do it regularly as it will keep coming on mainly after a longish run or at continuos speeds of 50mph+

As Stig says it's OBD II Code P0420, cat below efficiency....... most travelling mappers will switch this off for the price of a few pints if one is passing through on an opensource group mapping session.
That's if you don't want to pay for a full re-map.
Won't affect the running of a WRX but STi's not allways happy.

Hayward and Scott will sell you a "fix" to stop this, not 100% reliable but works most times.
Like Simon I would say you should get the car remapped to accommodate the exhaust or at least checked for det and correct afr's before you drive it aggressively.
cheers
