Hi All

So, I've just got my car going (TypeR ver 4) and have the ESL fitted.
I thought I would do a quick log whilst the car was at idle, just to check everything and familiarise myself with the set up.

When I open the file, I have a lot of missing tag names so when I pulled it into a log viewer, it only showed me half the data!?

Screen shot shows 6 missing tag names.

Anyone experienced this before??



Is this an ECU issue or computer problem?

Any help much appreciated

Which parameters have you logged which are missing?
try unticking all then tick the ones you want to log.

from memory(not got my laptop handy)
I've had this when I've got stuff like launch control,torque control,antilag ticked.

To be honest, I haven't done a lot with it yet but because I was sat in font of my computer, I thought I'd ask.
I do have the motorsport pack but pretty sure those tags weren't ticked.

When I get the chance again, I'll play about a bit more and see which ones don't get their names logged.

That is Odd, it shouldnt matter how many you have ticked it should put what they are as the other tables have

As said try unticking them all, logging, the ticking them all and see what occurs

If you have motorsport pack you can log the ALS,FFS,LC etc,which isn't a parameter you need to log.
pretty sure this is why you get the 0x0F**

I'm going out tomorrow,need to tweak the map,so will log the motorsport stuff and see what it shows up as.

That can/would make sense as I do have the motorsport pack!

I was able to do a quick test the other day and I think everything showed up but I haven't had proper time to look due to being away for work!!
