Talking Windows Tinting Groupby - Is now running

Okay, i am sure there are many of you out there who are loosing sleep at night, incase some idiot breaks your car windows and steels all the gizmo's in your car...

I was going to get Super Glass put on my car which will stop anyone from breaking the car windows...

I have been speaking to Pentagon UK: Car Window Tinting and Security Film Specialists, UK and International who has agreed to a 30% discount on there tints for the cars.

Branches are located all over the UK, and once the numbers are there and a small deposit is paid all you need to do is visit the local dealer to get the tint in.

They offer a life time garantee

Normal Prices as follows: (Based on a Subaru)
  • Normal Tint: £395 + Vat
  • Super Glass Tint: 550+ Vat
Groupby of 10 Cars as follows:(Based on a Subaru)
  • Normal Tint: £276 + Vat
  • Super Glass Tint: £385 + Vat

IF You have a different car, call them direct and get a quote for your car. Put your name down, and you will get a 30% discount at the end..

Any questions feel free to contact the supplier direct or post here and i will get yuor questions answered.

I will only be runnig this GB till the 31st of this month, so if intrestested please put your names down...

Why Pentagon UK
I decided to go with thi compnay based on the fact that they are big and have a good reputation and have branches situated all over the UK...which is convinient for this GB.

NOTE:
The prices are based on Subaru's, however if you have a different car, post the MOdel and the type of tint you want (normal or superglass) and i will get a price..

If you want to call them direct, just get a price for your car as it would be and take away 30%

Normal Cost - 30% = Groupby Cost

Hi Sam,

Just a thought....does Superglass work on cars which don't have door frames?

but..seeing no intrest here...

you can go for normal tints...if the cost is too high for Superglass...

Question

Sam, been thinking about this for a while, but can you find out how much weight is added by fitting the supa glass film please..?

With regards to the frameless door issue. When I enquired about having these done last year, I was told that although they wouldn't be a secure a framed windows they will still provide a lot of added protection. In other words, it would require more effort to remove than it would be worth, due to taking more than a few seconds to break in IYSWIM..

This would be sufficient for me, as it's primarily the quick smash and grab that I'd be trying to prevent. At night I'd have time to react and if out on the road time to drive away, without some ****** around your neck..!

As long as they're not to heavy I'd probably be in..

I'm not Sam, but I can answer, it's about twice the weight of cling film, so get some cling film, wrap it around the car windows, weigh it and double the weight

I'm sure it is location specific but when I called for a price, they are doing a special offer till the end of May and it was about the same as the group buy price (that was for a 5dr Focus which has 7 windows to do due to quarter lights).

Is that supa glass/security film..? IIRC it's twice as thick as the normal tint (50mic?)..?

All windows excluding the windscreen...but you need to call them direct and get a quote for your car...put your name down here...and then you will get 30% discount...when the magic number is reached..

I mentioned the car was a 5dr Focus. I rang the Reading branch and it was about 275inc VAT. If I can have another 30% off then I'm in but I doubt they will go that far.
