Receiving files in MSN

Since updating to latest Messenger 6.1.0211, when someone sends me a file/pic through MSN and it says..........

You have successfully received C:\Documents and Settings\Windows\My Documents\My Received Files\*****.jpg from *****
..................

Its always greyed out now and I cant click on it to open.

Anyone any idea why?

Is it there if you go to C:\Documents and Settings\Windows\My Documents\My Received Files\ ?

A pure guess, but have you got Outlook Express set to "Do not allow attachments......" on the security tab?

Forgot to mention that it doesn't happen all the time about 50/50

Interesting problem, there's a messenger newsgroup that well populated with people in the know. I'll dig out the address for you. Otherwise the support pages on Microsoft are very good.
