Default Faul code reading software

Good Evening,

Mrs Highlander is away out so I am bored and wanting to fettle with the car haha.

Anyways my EML is on and would like to know why, I have the EML327 which works on the car but no software.
I have tried ROMRAIDER but when i download and install it keeps telling me the definitions are out of date (I have DL the new ones but no joy)
Is there anyother software available? Free of charge?

Cheers

You could download a previous version of Romraider, I have never had an issue with any version tbh.

ELM327 device isn't compatible with romraider. You need the vagcom FTDI lead or an openport cable to use it.

I've also got the Vagcom lead.

All romraider keeps saying is it needs new definitions. Even tho I have downloaded them.

have you told romraider where you saved the definitions? There should be ECU defs, car defs, logger defs and virtual dyno files needing to be downloaded as well as the romraider logger software.
