Default Sp prodrive ecu advice 1997-1998

I still haven't managed to get my sp ecu coded to my keys as every vote has been insane price. Can it be bypassed inside the ECU?

If so who does this?

Can Andy Stevens maybe take it and do away with the immob? Obviously you'd have to pay him if he could/would do it.

I haven't seen anything in my ESL software that would allow it so Andy must be able to do it elsewhere in the software. Give him a shout!

Not tried it yet as someone on here said, if it doesn't work can stop your keys working with your original ecu, but saying that, someone put a thread up saying they tried one and it didn't work, but neither said stop there original ecu working

yup, 8s was the original, then another 8s from another, was fine. changed engine to a v3 sti and 75 ecu, was fine but did have to change the cam/crank pins and fuel pin due to being an import ecu. then changed the 75 for a 6s and thats fine and still going lovely. no keys coding on any at all.

i cant see why you cant remove the ecu and try the sp one, unplugging it is no different than leaving the battery off or it going flat for a while.

It might have abit more power, i will get the intercooler and y pipe done and new filter and refit old etc, then time 0-60 then refit sp and do it again see what difference is.

Thanks for help
