Tuition
Firstly I have done a couple of searches but haven't found much, but apologies if this has been covered in detail before.
Having just got my first scobby (a std MY03 WRX) I'd like to increase my skills and knowledge of how the car handles and behaves on the limit, clearly the public highway is not the place to try this.
Are there any recomended or known instructors out there who offer 1 to 1 or small group driving tuition aimed a scooby drivers (or other performance AWD cars).
I'm not looking for a roadcraft course such as HPC or anything similar, I'm more interested in a limit handling course where you get to find, explore and exceed the cars capabilities in a safe environment.
Any recomendations ?
Cheers
Neil

I have heard good reports about a guy called Don Palmer, there is an article about his day out ! in a mag I have at home, I think he has a web site
Will come back to you on this
Andrew
You could also investigate an Advanced Driving Course by IAM, I did one years ago on a motorbike, I thought I was good but learn't loads.

Thanks, have heard on Don Palmer, my old boss used to sprint an early 911 and used Don Palmer for few one on one sessions with what he described as fantastic results, so thats certainly an option.

Hol, likewise, would be interested if the numbers work and if its a small group.
Paul, Essex not too bad for me, and as you say Andy has a very good rep. I think one of their 2 or 4 person days would be just what I'm looking for. Might try to book one up for November on the chances that it will be wet and I can claim it as an x-mas present.
Cheers

Try Stormy (usually found in the Trackdays forum) - he organises days at Bruntingthorpe with instructors on hand.
As an intro Andy Walsh at carlimits is very good but your tyres will suffer, he's also about 1/3rd the price of Don Palmer.
