Default Induction kit = Stall?!?! HELP

Hi,
I have a bug eye import sti and put an induction kit, which consisted of filter and metal pipe with sensor space. Once it was on i started the car and it just stalls?!?! I would of gathered that this would have been a straight swap with the original box for the filter. Has any one else experienced this, is it the kit or am i missing something what was the remedy?
cheers

I've had this before and it turned out to be a hiden pipe that had accidently pulled off and was allowing air to enter the engine where it shouldn't. Check all breather connections

'Induction kits' are pointless on Imprezas and do little but cause problems, the best thing you can do is take it off.

.
I tend to agree boost spikes are the problem

Lots of "classic" owners now Buying newage and reckon they can "Easlily" mod with exhaust and Induction to increase BHP by 30-60bhp as they did "classics"

Sorry but newage ECU has more control than before Previously power was restricted by Induction and Exhaust

IMHO
