Hi
My car a 97 use a GGR ECU and is workink in 21 PSI .
Tonight from the morning i only can reach 10 psi in full boost.
I dont hear any stranges noises or something from the engine and the turbine.
Last day i have put in my car the new fuel from SHELL (V POWER) with only 95 octanes. Can be that the reason for not boosting ?

It is not the petrol.

Something has become disconnected, there is a sensor failure or the ECU has gone into a safety mode.

I don't know about your GGR ECU though and how it reports errors. Do you have a Check Engine light illuminated? Can you check that the wastegate solenoid connector is still on, that the wastegate is not stuck open (although you would probably get much less than 10 PSI). Can you measure pressure at the turbo outlet and look for leaks/cracks etc. There are a lot of things it could be. ECU diagnostics on a Select Monitor would really help if you have access to this through a dealer or independent garage.

Could connect the plugs used to reset ECU and see what codes flash up, if any.

Yes it may reset it and clear any errors, but I would want to know the cause.
