Default new clutch doesnt work, whats gone wrong??

ive just done an engine build, that works lol

i fitted a new exedy clutch and 2nd hand lightened flywheel

cant engage a gear at all and the pedal does feel light, ive took the slave cylinder off to feel the movement in the clutch fork, it just moves freely and makes a clicky noise at the end of its travel

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hi again
the clutch pedal feels light.ive checked the master cylinder - ok and i can see alot of good movement from the fork

someone has said to me about the flywheel being too thin is this true, i would have thought it would have slipped once in gear but it would have selected gears.

i did notice on the clutch pressure plate that when the thrust bearing was fitted, the ring it fits into as got alot of in/out movement aswell, i just thought this was normal but dont know now.
cheers

as above, either the release bearing not located in the clutch cover properly or the fork not in the release bearing properly.
