Release bearing not engaged??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hi again the clutch pedal feels light.ive checked the master cylinder - ok and i can see alot of good movement from the fork someone has said to me about the flywheel being too thin is this true, i would have thought it would have slipped once in gear but it would have selected gears. i did notice on the clutch pressure plate that when the thrust bearing was fitted, the ring it fits into as got alot of in/out movement aswell, i just thought this was normal but dont know now. cheers |
sounds like when u installed the clutch the bearing was not put in the fork corectly and has probably slipped out the fork :(

as above, either the release bearing not located in the clutch cover properly or the fork not in the release bearing properly.
