Why are the old type Subaru My 94-97 57-0274 K&N induction kit's so fecking expensive £105 when you can buy a Ford puma one for £65.00 and it doesn't look to different to the scoob one.
Is it just because we have old bones they want to charge as much as they like!!!!! the B******s

Sorry Rant mode off now!!!!!

I believe you can get a similar kit to the GGR one from STi in Japan, only that's about twice the price. The only difference with the GGr one is that they use a larger K&N cone. It's certainly not cheap but like I say, less than half the STi price.

About the K+N Generation II induction kits, I was led to believe that there wasn't going to be a version produced for any turbo Impreza. I first heard this from a performance parts reseller last year, subsequent enquiries to other dealers have given me the same answer. I finally asked a K+N tech guy at this years Autosport show who confirmed it. The 2 kits available at present are for the Impreza Sport and a Peugeot model. He went on to explain these cars benefit greatly from having the filter boxed in, but Impreza turbo models showed little or no gains over the current kit, so K+N had no plans to manufacture one.

Bummer I say, as it looks quite cool.

Cube.

Huxley,
this one www.filterpower.com quotes the same price

Im sure you could get it a lot cheaper. Got mine as a 1 off trade price, it came to about £69 including vat (Uk MY00 btw). That is one fat profit margin

Huxley,

Sorry m8 am here...just

if you use the filterpower website above its £93 odd sorry delivered, better than the £110 u were quoted.

Speak to Croydon Road and Rally in Croydon, Surrey, I know for UK cars they were doing them for a little over £80 the other week.

TBMeech, just doubled checked that site. Read the print above the price saying plus vat it still comes out a bit expensive...

But theres no harm in asking....
