Hi

I am looking at the WRX as my new car,does anyone have the WR sport exhaust or Prodrive ECU fitted. I am stuggling t out how much power / torque these add and if it the car that much quiker performance wise.

if ppp the 232bhp to 252bhp
if ecu with out others the 225/230
with exhast 220
plus ecu then 230 ish

Cheers Steven it would be without the PPP a bit to pricey. I have a price on the exhaust but do you know how much the prodrive ECU is

The dealer said the exhaust would give an extra 8% BHP so 218 would go to 235, sounds like he was having a laugh then.

would have thought that the exhaust and ecu would give 230bhp give or take a couple or so

cost well to get a prodrive ecu is like rocking hourse sh@T
as only seem to be part of ppp!!

i got 234bhp and 209 lbs at power engineering with standard car apart from the wr sport back box this was at the rolling road day a couple of months ago

I guess that compares with what the dealer told me.

I am trying to formalise my options list.

Does it feel quicker ? and in terms of volume is it sensible.

I took the Prodrive back box as an option on my WRX. This option includes the centre section. As well as feeling more responsive at lower revs, the exhaust note is much rougher . It's gotten better still as the miles have been put on it.
Worth every penny...
