good, because i would not reccoment that your STI type R with 5MT DCCD should use Limited slip diff, and not 75/90 Syntrax Driveline.
Castrol Syntrax Driveline 75/90 is OK for EDM GT/WRXs. Have used this on 4 of my EDM WRXes. Shifts better than new!
But, on a 280hp JDM STI Type R with DCCD and LSD rear diff, for more heavy use, on and off track, I would reccomend Castrol SAF-X 75/140 or SAF XJ 75/140 for limted slip diff.
I used SAF XJ on my previous STI v4 Type R V limited on both box and rear diff. Car was only used for track driving.
4 litres for the gearbox
1 litre for the rear diff
And yes, Syntrax and SAF X/XJ can be used both in gearbox and reardiff
Would not, under any circumstance, use 75/90 driveline universal on a STI Type R with DCCD box and LSD rear diff

let me get this right, am i ok to use the 75-90 driveline in my V4 type R gear box( i bloody hope so cos it was just put in yesterday). ive not used it in my rear diff cos i was told to use a fully syn so i use silkoline fully syn.
If any1 has used syntrax driveline 75-90 in there type R box please let me know of any problems or if its been ok
Cheers Nicky
