Default How good is Apexi GT Spec FMIC ?

I have noticed that New Era Imports have opended a parts business

http://www.neweraparts.com/partinfo.jsp?pid=87

GBP 550 plus 50 postage seems a good price

Does anyone have experience with this FMIC ?

Can driving lights be fitted with it ?

From what i've heard it's a very good FMIC.... but i believe the driving lights have to go. Brilliant price tho. Wonder if they'd reduce that for a group buy

Tony.

Greenline confirms that the driving lights do have to go

I have an Apexi Gt spec on my car and have Just bought a FMIC from Harvey for someone else. IMHO the finish on the Hybrid is much better than my Apexi Core, i'm not overly keen on the top and bottom of the Apexi end tanks. No arguing that it works on my set up but IMHO the Hybrid is a better buy (not just because of the £35 lower price tag delivered).

Just to add, my Fog covers that i have just bought also have to be butchered a bit to fit over the Apexi pipework .

Only a bit

My Apexi FMIC took a day to fit and 3 weeks to get the bumper back on No chance of retaining front fogs so I bought fog light covers and I had to completely butcher them to get them to fit, in fact the O/S was so bad I had to move the number plate over that side to cover the pipe work

The Hybrid core is larger, but Apexi rate their core at 500bhp flow rate so not many people should be restricted by it, Rob might be getting close to the limits though
