Question Automatic I/C.......for STi8 ?

Guys do any of you know whether anybody has come up with an automatic I/C spray mechanism, rather than fiddle about with pushing the button ?
The car in question is a STi 8

Yes,

The one discussed here looks about the smartest of them. The article contains some interesting info about what your intercooler is actually doing too.
You can buy the set up they came up with complete or as a kit.

i have one on mine and the whole kit was about £160, it was bought from turbobits they advertise on SIDC, it works on air temp and injector duty cycle , if your gonna fit one id get a switch for to turn it off as if its on all the time it drinks water, well it does in my car that is

Not sure what it would take to fit one to your car though, could be worth looking into?

p1doc, I phoned Wilsons this morning and gave them the part no......but they said it did not exsist on their data base? it might be for a import? Do I have I got the right part no? or will I have to get it direct from Japan?

p1doc, thank you for this reply, at least I know they make something, just trying to track the part down now.

So, do UK cars not have the 'auto' button then?

This is a conversion I am doing to my wrx bugeye using the sti7/8 switchgear I was looking for a cheap way to fire the switch power to the intercooler spray pump for approximatly 3.5 seconds without having to keep my finger on the button and have been to my local auto electritians who have come up with a timed relay which will do the job all for the vast cost of £8.50 if your intrested I will find out the part number and let you know when I pick it up next week.
