About 20% gain from decat and map on STi 02. Don't have the RR plots though.

4th Gear Delta Dash Test on MY02 STi with fuel reg, uprated pump, full H&S system, green panel filter & ECU TEK 3.

337bhp - 317ft/lb.

Will try it in 5th one day if I can find a private road

Obviously as this was delta dash can't be 100% on these results, but gives you an idea

Tony,

You can if you wish, but that will just annoy me off as it has to be a UK car!

By the lack of responses I can only assume (thanks for the feedback so far though) that not many 03/04/05 owners are modding cars other than PPP??

Regards,
Shaun.

Shaun,

311bhp and 331lbs of torque, standard jdm map with STi panel filter and back box (H&S)
There was an MY04 Sti at well lane running a td05/06 which ran 376bhp/350lbs of torque though last week, but i prefer the JDM 555 (MY04) car ive seen that runs 360bhp/380lbs of torque with full decat/remap

The PPP seems to be quite a good package. Why risk a 3 year warranty for marginal real world gains from an aftermarket tunner?

In all honesty I suspect you have hit the nail on the head. Peak BHP and Torque maybe higher on non-official products, but on the road for the sake of the warranty (and this is obviously only applicable to newer cars) is it really worth it..... I suspect not.

Shaun.

Perhaps there would be more response if you asked the MY01/2 STI owners that are out of warranty?

Is there any difference engine wise in these models?

can understand why you were not happy with Powerstation map.....! - surely that should be over 320 bhp? - My PPP was RRd at over 300bhp with cat downpipe - interested to see what Bob achieves tested at same RR station

Shaun old bean,

What Insurance Co will cover full de-cat - V&R wont take any mods at all now

I would love to try Bobs re-map with full de-cat, but no idea who would insure me...
