Default cheap mods

hi, im looking for some noticeable power gains out of my 03 sti ppp. i have filter, full decat blitz exhaust and dump valve. what engine mods can i do which i will actually notice a difference? dont forget i am also poor, so must be affordable. mate said to me lightened flywheels are good, but i dont like the idea of reduced engine braking. any help appreciated. cheers!

Replace the cone filter with the airbox and add a STi paper panel filter, or make sure your cone filter is getting loads of air to it (but it might knacker your MAF)
Open bonnet again - locate dump valve - remove and chuck in the nearest bin - replace original recirc DV.
If you've got a full decat blitz you might as well as get a proper remap to make the use of it, seeing as you've shot your warranty by fitting it, the PPP keeps one of the Cats, the one in the downpipe is replaced with a high-flow version IIRC.
Wouldn't class a lightened flywheel as cheap due to the fact you'll either have to drop the G' box or remove the engine to change the original.

the engine braking is stronger due to the engine wanting to spin its revs down much faster

the flywheel keeps the engine spinning, a heavier wheel will make it spin faster for longer

a lighter one will help it lose speed faster
