Cool MORE PRAISE FOR API!

Well, that is my new API engine fully run in. During the run in period I got the car fully de-cated. It is sweet as a nut, sounds fantastic and so, as per the title, more praise for API!!! Only gripe (which does not relate to API) is that there is a heat shield that rattles a bit since the engines were swapped. As I understand it, this was held in with about 14 bolts which had to be cut off etc. Still, the exhaust is that noisy, who cares about that!!!

Mikey, did you have any other mods do when the Apexi Fc was fitted/mapped by Andy?
I too have an 'API Touched' engine, thrashed to death most weekends hill climbing, all ok..............

What constitutes an 'API touched' engine?? Sounds interesting

My Sti v3 had fooked head gasket(s). Chat with David @ API settled my mind. Clear straight talk, no messing about.
got there with my engine in my car, they pulled the heads there and then to ease my worried mind.
We agreed that head studs would be an investment as the car is seriously hill climbed so subject to high stress.
This was done, minimum fuss, and ahead of an agreed time scale pushed by me (I am very impatient).
Engine has been run very hard and is perfect.

Cannot underline how refreshing it is to deal with API.

I have bought a couple of things from 'em. Lambda sensor and a turbo, and must say very happy with transactions.

Nice to talk to someone that isn't BS'ing

Will be planning to take my car there one day for proper going over and remap.
