what sort of screwdriver do i need to take off my MAF?
it looks like a torx head, but it's got a pin in the middle and any torx bits i've got are solid.
is this a special sort? if so does anyone know where i can get one from?

I think so, all the ones I have have holes in, and they were only cheap.
It is quite easy to 'bust' the pin out of the centre using a small screwdriver.

Or file a V into a small flatbladed screwdriver that fits nicely in there.

I just knocked out the pin witha terminal screwdriver and used a normal torx.
Its not as if someone is going to nick your MAF is it so why have a security screw on it.???

yep, bashing out the pin is the next option if i can't find the bit i'm after and drilling is the next step in my bodgit haynes manual
