Default So need an exchaust !!!!

My first weekend with my MY 04 Scoob. First impressions awesome, Second impression it's still awesome, Third impression god it's quiet ! Where did the thrum thrum sound go to then or do you all change the exchaust when you bought them ???? I want some sound but not deffening on the motorway, I know this has prob been posted before but i need help ! QUICK !!!!

....i presume your 04 is under warranty , so you could fit the Prodrive back box without invalidating your protection and this will bring your flat four to life with the kind of thrum i think you will be happy with. Not very loud, just subtle.

I fitted a TSL Firestorm back box to begin with and that totally transformed the exhaust note.

Pretty loud though.

I then added the decat centre section. This made it louder again and improved the performance noticeably.

I've retained the downpipe CAT for the moment.

I have an MY03 STi

Taking my Firestorm off because it's far too loud for travelling distances. Certainly brings out the rumble I'll give you that. Not one for those wanting to avoid attention though.

Mines full decat which also contributes to the noise factor.

Just buying the Scoobyworld Janspeed 3.5" box. Hopefully this will give me a nice comprimise of performance and sound.
