i'm posting for my friend who has a my94 wrx type RA.

it has a monster missfire at 5K in 1st..lesser miss at 5k in 2nd
3rd through 5th are ok!
the afr is showing zero when its happening.?
they have used new plugs and its not sorted it.
also they have checked the coils etc as best they can...

any ideas please??

time for new coil packs..

plugs set to 0.7mm gap?

the plugs where gapped ok and the coil packs "have been checked/swapped etc by his garage".

any other thought..sorry this post is like a chinese wisper...
