The Nur Spec R is the better one. But it depends what you want from it.

There's also the RX, a more subdued version of the R, easy to live with at normal speeds, nice and loud at 'higher' speeds.

I hate my R system,i have the bung in but removed the tube part of the bung as with it i found it restricted it too much.

without bung, far too loud for me,with bung, far to restrivctive,so i have an in the middle compromise so far but its still to loud at 70-90 etc (on track etc) LOL

so the only difference between nur spec r and nur spec s is the bore size?

@ Cocker...do you have any sound file/video of yours in action mate? i have an afterburner cat back which is H&S and want to know if its worth trying to find a nur spec s to bolt on to the afterburner. cheers.

Yes my H&S centre section is 2.5" but im only running circa 330

I had the H&S jap style exit before (same as the afterburner) I love the Nur Spec sound so much more as its more bassy

I have had a blitz and a vortex, and on tickover the vortex was slightly louder, but as soon as the revs rise the blitz is much louder and more bassy as said above .
My favourite clip for a blitz exhaust below Pure bass

I took the "bung" out of my NUR Spec R and I latest 1/2 a day before it drove me so crazy I had to put the "bung" back in. To be fair with the muffler installed it's a really nice sound and is not annoying to other people.

Nur Spec R on mine, no bung and a fairly stripped interior.

It's a tad noisy inside.

thanks! its the bass sound i am after. at high revs the afterburner does sound mean, particularly when overtaking cos the sound bounces off the other car...but its a little raspy and not quite deep enough for me.
