Question In the quest of flameage!!

Hi all
How am i likely to get those little pops of flames out the back of the car?
I have a full decat system with a twin dump down pipe lagged, pipercross induction kit, baileys atmos dump valve and will soon have a dawes fitted.
I also run the car on optimax with 50ml of millers to every tenner. Soon going over to millers CVL now i havent a catted system.
Any ideas on how to get those rally flames or should my car be doing it now?

Thanks all

Johnny

as mickey says, it should be flaming if its going to.

from my experience of many RA's and STi RA's, some do it, some don't, its a complete mystery to me

not necessarily a factor m8. get her nice and hot and take her for a run on a dark night. typically more boost = running leaner, what you're looking for is running rich ie unburnt fuel getting in to exhaust and igniting there rather than in the engine.

Nah, a flamer kit is a bit ott for me!!
What about the octane level? At the moment im running on optimax and millers plus which all in comes to about 99.7 ROn or something like that but the millers CVL should bring it up to 101 RON. Should that make any difference?
What about a different dump valve? Mine is an atmos one but what changes happen if a non atmos?! one is fitted?

ive got a flamer kit, piece of **** to fit, lights up whole road behind, especially down country lanes at night. it pops and flames naturally though, but the kit preduces some monster flames in 4th at about a ton, about 4 to 6 foot long looking at my camcorder footage....
