i have the pipe it came with but thats ****e.
i have seen some small scoops that go in place of the vent in bonnet are they any good ?
or can u just take the blanking plate of the vent that is there ?

in theory no, its not the best way, but if you can manufacture a small housing to protect the filter from eng temps then its not bad.Still not as efficient as the original housing for cool air though

Change the bonnet vent above the induction kit for a mini scoop. Keep the blanking panel underneath the vent just for when it rains to save getting the cone wet.

Also remove the resonator from the drivers side wing and redirect the air from the bumper slats to the induction kit.
I have done all the above and fabricated a alloy heat shield to keep the heat away from the filter.

One other thing is to remove the rubber strip on the edge of the bonnet.

You do notice the difference !!!!!
