Help!
Just tried to start car this evening after being parked all day and running perfectly this morning. Started fine but no power to pull away. Revs are limited to around 3k and will stall after a few seconds of tickover.
Engine check light is not on.
Only thing different to normal was some spirited driving yesterday (grass autotest)
Initial feeling is lack of petrol flow.

Most likely the fuel pump. Please note if you take it apart to test it may seem to work fine, that is because it is failing under load.

I'm told it's the Air Flow Meter.
Hoping for warranty to pick up tab.
Should get it back on Friday after 45k service.

Update for info.
Yes it was the Air Flow Meter - Hot wire type - just failed, apparently.
Cost to replace £326 - picked up by warranty.
Graham (MY99WRX - a proper one - still!)
