I have been having some problems with my car running badly and I think I may have had a bad tank of petrol somwehere along the line. It's been suggested that I may have water in the fuel filter.

Where is the filter located ? Is it possible to drain the filter or clear it out somehow or is it a chuck away and put a new one on ? The car has recently had a 60k service, does it get replaced then ?

If anyone can help me to eliminate this as a possible cause then it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Ken

could be your primary coil. I had a problem like that and I blamed it on gas for a while, till I noticed I performed especially badly on wet days. changed teh coil and the ballast resistor, and it helped out a lot.
