Arghhhhh. Starting Probs this Morning ?

Question


MY 97. Went to it this morning wouldn,t start. Turns over fine, but wouldn,t fire. Continued to Crank it over for 25/30 seconds and bingo it fired, its been ok since. Did it yesterday to . Anyone throw any light on it for me please. I suspect either

1, Crank Sensor.

2, Cam sensor

Anyone want to give me there opinion on this please would be most helpfull

Scoobs on a standard ECU are notorious for being difficult to start if you so much as TOUCH the throttle before it fires.

Doing so floods it, so you have to continue cranking while slowly pressing the throttle to the ground.

check the ecu fault code - this will tell u what it is.
