CEL came on last night...
#1
About 50 miles into a 75 mile trip, and after about 5 miles of sustained "fairly high speed" the CEL came on accompanied by what felt like a total loss of turbo boost.
No weird noises or anything so i backed off and slowed to around 50mph, CEL still on, still no boost when i tentatively prod the throttle.
After about 5 miles of this i have to slow for a roundabout, going from 5th to 4th to 3rd and down to abpprox 30mph the CEL goes off and the boost returns.
After that, all seemed well again, i drove it home pretty gently with a couple of 'test' WOT moments to check all was back to normal - which it seemed to be.
It's under warranty so will be going in tomorrow for the dealer to have a look, but does anyone have any guesses? Its a completely standard MY99 running on Optimax.

The only real way to find out whats up is to put the green and black plugs under the dash together and do a reset, thats what the dealer will do! they can then read a 'code' which will flash on the dash.

Just an update. I popped my Scooby in to the local dealer (Simpsons of Highworth) this morning with no appointment booked.
They put the select monitor strait on it and diagnosed a failing O2 sensor, which was replaced immediately under warranty. All finished/road tested within an hour of turning up.
Top marks to Simpsons!
