Hi SD
nice to here from someone else in NI, I have the Prodrive quickshift in my RB5, and comparing it to the std I would say yes indeed, the shift is much more informative and better still with a Momo **** which can shorten the throw even more and remove the rubber between your mit and the stick. I can't vouch for the GG item but I'd be sure it is good quality and on scoobyshop it is a damn sight cheaper than the prodrive one!!

Sunday Driver,

You'll not regret it. Like Andy W I too have an RB5. Wouldn't drive a scooby without one £200 sounds like a bargain!

What will installing one do to your warranty? I imagine the gearbox will not be covered if you get the GGR quickshift?

Just something to keep in mind...

Fitting the quickshift shouldn't affect your warrenty and definately won't affect your gearbox. The GGR item is top quality and an easy DIY job. Pity I didn't get to yu earlier as we supply a very similar item here in Ireland for a little less Next time

If I can ever help you with anything don't be afraid to give me a call.

Paul.

I bought a quick shift from some guy advertising in some "Jap import" mag for about £50.00. had it fitte for £30.00 on my Legacy turbo. Nearly had a heart attack when I first used it... Mecanic did not tell me it would loosen up. Thought hell this is mental !!!!!Only had to touch the gear stick and it would change!!! It is great. when i drive a scooby without one I think the stick is going to snap off !!! Should be first on list of mod's.

be lucky

How hard is it to fit, and what is involved? I'm sorely tempted after driving a P1...

Anyone done a fitting guide yet? If not, as soon as I find out I'll put one up!

Cheers,

Nick.
