Question

i have a my98 uk turbo,as far as i know its only supposed to have the following mods:
scoobysport de-catted centre pipe
scoobysport back-box
itg panel filter

now going on wot ive been told by others i thought i should be getting around 230bhp,but after a visit to Power Engineering last month i got 250bhp, which to say the least i was very pleased with.so wot i want to know is,does anybody here know wot i should be getting with these mods?and if it is only 230bhp,wot else could be done on it giving it the extra 20bhp,or how could i find this out even...

thanks in advance BM

Don't complain!

Maybe the downpipe is changed too? but think it is about right.

Have a look here

To see if there is a similar spec and what they got.

cheers jolly,
im not complaining mate,i just want to know because ive been told that there is a bit more needed to do to a my98 if im thinking about ecu's and re-maps,and thought maybe something along those lines may have already been done .
also on the same day at Power Engineering a my00 with a full de-cat zaust, back box and panel filter only managed 249bhp,thats wot is really making me wonder, especially being the newer model with a higher bhp as standard...anymore info will be much appriciated.

BM

forgot to say mine has a standard downpipe on it too!!!
