I've seen mention of this in elsewhere on the board, the name David Wallis was mentioned together with something about empty sockets on the ECU board. I can't get 'Search' to work to find out more, can anyone point me towards the right threads etc.?

what do you want to know?

a wrx wont have the socket fitted into the ecu, you can solder one in (28 pin Dil) and then plug a board in.

Someone said (in response to a 'Wanted' advert) that you were the man to talk to about an upgrade ECU for the early cars. Mine is a UK 1994, not a WRX.
