Does anybody know if I need a remap of my EcuTek if I change my original TD04 with a VF29 or a VF35? I'm not looking for insane boost, but would I be able to hold the current 1,1-1,2 bar of my EcuTek 2.5?
Thanx

Relative to the std turbo the engine will be running leaner, it will then depend on how it was to start with, you would/should get it checked out as you could be running into trouble if, for example, the car was already barely rich enough for some reason.

The EcuTek is at present time mapped by JB as a EcuTek 2.5, so i thourght that going for a let's say VF29 would'nt change that much, it seems I was wrong
Have any of you changed your TD04 for a VF29? Is the power gain OK or should I go for a TD05?

The map I did has quite a lot of top end ignition advance if you use a big turbo and hold the boost up at the top, so it could det. You would need a boost controller and knocklink and AFR meter. And you should start low and work up. I can't pretend it will be optimal though.

Who was the supplier ?
http://www.turbometrics.com/pricelist.html list USD 975 for VF35, seems a bit high given VF34 prices USD 750 to 800 on http://www.nasioc.org
