Problems starting on a morning
#1
Recently on a morning when trying to start the car MY95 UKturbo wagon the starter kicks over but quite noisy and the engine struggles to start. It does eventually start but only after about half a dozen clicks of the starter. Also If when I try and start the car and it doesn't start I try again it it will not do any thing even the starter was dead but that as only happened once.
Any advice or any one had this before?

Sounds like the battery is on the way out..
only just got enough power to turn it over a few times, and is turning it over slightly slower hence not starting straight way.

where is the starter on the engine? I might just have a look at that at the w/e. failing that I will try a new battery.
Also the starter seems to be turning fine but its just the engine that seems to be taking abit more to start.

Starter motor is on the back of the engine / gearbox.. below the intercooler..
if it is turning then it is not that..
probably got a picture around here somewhere..
It lives in the hole next to the lightbulb in this picture..
Follow a large black earth wire from the battery
