As per subject car idling at 0psi instead of -5, suspect something leaking but don't know where to start - all help appreciated.

Cheers

Could be one of the inlet gaskets, try spraying a can of wd 40 or similar around where the inlet manifolds join the heads, see if the engine picks up speed, if so, found the leak ! can also use same trick on any other inlet joint, see if the residue get sucked into the joins.

Or you could have a knackered gauge! I've just had an Autometer replaced that was reading 4psi out of the box...

What makes you so sure the gauge is ok? Has it been calibrated or compared to another gauge? The reason I am asking is that I have calibrated a few gauges and just because they read zero doesn't mean they are accurate linearity/range wise. Try using another gauge or get yours checked to be 100% sure. Also how is the car running at idle?

Cheers

Baz, where have you connected the boost gauge to??

If connected to the Actuator pipework you will not get a vacumn reading at idle.

Boost gauge has been in and working for almost 3 years, the problem is definitely causing the car to overfuel on idle. Was thinking along the lines of TPS or a hose connected to the IM but don't know how to check.
