could i get away with fitting one without a boost gauge i no the gauge tells you the reading and how to set it properly but surely a few clicks wont make that much a difference.i heard 4 clicks is usually raises about 0.1 boost am i right in hearing this

 

I wouldn't do it! just connect up a gauge for setup (run the pipe through the window ) then set the boost to the required amount then remove it. £30 for a gauge is cheaper than repairing your melted engine

I don't have a boost guage; running a Dawes in conjunction with a Unichip.

Never had a problem.

 

if only it was that easy the cars in her name as she has 6 yrs no claims so im pretty screwed also how do you get the faces in the paragraphs
