Question

I ran a DeltaDash log on a STi7 with 2.5" decat. There is some overboost when cruising and then going WOT in 5th.

Maximum Manifold Absolute Pressure is 33.1psi (2.28bar). The problem is this is at high altitude (1600m) and atmospheric pressure is 12.5psi (0.86 bar). This makes the maximum Relative Pressure of 20.6 psi(1.42bar). Now it this too much, I hear standard is about 1.3bar (which is 2.3 bar (33.35psi) absolute). Is the target boost to relative or absolute? Should I put in a bigger restrictor (maybe 1.0mm) or is this boost safe and okay?

What does a standard STi make boost wise at altitude, anybody in the Alps or something with some details and/or a log?
