What is the max boost I can drive with a standard TD05H (make it front entry)?
If you increase the boost will it make 350 bhp?? If you have mods everything what you can get!

It can make a lot of boost, although I would recommend a 1.45 bar midrange boost dropping to 1.2 bar

you can sustain more boost if you want to, guess it depends on the size of your injectors / fuel pump etc.

I ran mine at 1.7 bar midrange dropping to 1.5 bar at 6000 RPM. However, to get really good timing with this I ran whole bottle of NF octane booster per tank, plus I run 550 and a FMIC. AFR at 12:1, EGTs 900C. Our local rolling road had a Peng of 358 BHP which with present temperature correction would give a power of 371 BHP flywheel. These rollers read below standard power for a standard car so are relatively conservative.

These figures merely illustate the flow potential of this turbo, there are other issues with injectors, octane, interooling, engine longevity, EGTs etc. For a safer more conservative tune on ordinary pump fuel you would expect lower power of course.

The TD05 can exceed 1.8 bar pressure whilst still retaining 72% compressor efficiency in some of the midrange. It will make plenty enough torque to ruin your gearbox if you can control temps/detonation. A sensible level to run it depends on how much you trust the standard internals.... most would stick to 1.4 bar midrange dropping off after 6000 RPM, but even this will massive stretch your existing fuel system.

1.2 bar@6.000 is about the maximum you can go with 380cc injectors!

Onething that has to be changed are the injectors.
Mark can tell me what boost I can run if I have installed the 550cc after 6000 rpm?
