Question

This one has probably been done to death already but I can't seem to find an old entry with the answer.

I have UK MY96 modded with full ScoobySport exhaust system and HKS induction kit, would the Dawes Device be a good choice for the next mod as there is still a bit of turbo lag there ?????

You will still get Turbo lag with a Dawes, It may make spool up faster, But will generally allow you to run more boost & stop boost spiking. (especially if you have no Cats) Go for the race spec, slightlt more expensive but the reaction time is quicker.

if anything the Dawes makes it more pronouced as the boost comes on in one bit hit rather than the blend that the OEM controller gives.

I have a MY96 too.
You must get a llamda link (and I just got a knocklink) as well as a boost gauge.

Wink

Thanks for the advice guys and I've even managed to find the Dawes FAQ on Scoobynet which pretty much answers all my questions.
