...wot no flames?
#1
Today I fitted a flamer kit bought from top bloke Toby along with a centre and back box.
Well I done a proper job this afternoon, flowed wire through to arm rest where I connected it up with a live and an earth to my switch (earthed to make the green LED on switch work when on) and then connected all the rest up, tested it and hey nonny nonny it all works perfect plug sparks away like a good un.
So Test run called for. I let it warm up nicely and then away ya go with mate following to see new visual enhancements...
After a good run I still have no flames WOT THE HELLS HAPPENING, I was really looking forward to a good mobile barbecue this anyone got any suggestions.
I run it on Optimax and Millers any suggestions welcome.

I aven't got one myself, nut the rumour is that a couple of days use will bring the flames.
If you still can't after that, try adjusting the plug gap.
Don't for get, if all else fails, a couple of litres of petrol will make your car flame quite well

Hi Toby.
Yeah dont know why it aint FLAMING working hehehehhe.
Spark seems fine and its all working great just no flames. I did same kind of thing you said about wiring it up. I used the switch you sent with it put in one of the blanks where rear elecy windows should go, I got a live from the mirrors and earthed the switch, so it only works when ignition is on and the light is on on the switch when on, looks reall neat if I do say so myself.
Think I'll try a diff Oct boost see if that helps any.
BB cleaned up a treat with Autosol.
Cheeers mate

You tool, I told you that you'd probably need one LOL
I've got a Scoobysport but am sure most de-cat d/p's will work fine...plus you'll get a nice healthy increase in power for your money too

You need the downpipe and a VTA dump valve for maximum effect.
I was polishing it the other day and i actually had black marks on the underside of the 22b wing,
PS I dont need anyone to follow me to tell me they are working, It eithers lights up the armco or people i have just over took start flashing and waving at me LOL
See you at the peterborugh/cambs meet on the 25th
