Question

hi, new to all this, good site.

just a question about a tek 2 remap.
after a tank of 95 ron i reset my MY00 ecu sucessfully, (using green and black wires under dash etc), couldn't really notice much of a difference acually, now runing only on optimax/SUL. my omly mod is magnex centre pipe and bb

considering a tek 2 upgrade, if i have to use 95 ron again and i then reset the ecu, will i lose the tek 2 benefits.

cheers i may be being a bit thick on this.

ps 18 months of very happy ownership and i've only just found scoobynet

All Ecutek maps are as permanent as the factory maps and cannot be erased by doing a reset. You will lose the ecu's correction table though and this will be rebuilt by the ecu, just as when the car was first used on the OE/Ecutek map.

Excuse me Pete, whilst you are here, can you clarify whether Scoobysport do the EcuTek remapping on clasic shape 1999/2000 Imprezas or just the new WRX and Sti - Cheers.

Boost 11 .... Scoobysport do supply a Tek2 type remap for the classic MY99/00, but not a custom remap for these years.
They do custom remaps for 01/02 though.
