Who's got a new (Janspeed) ScoobySport BB?

The Janspeed exhausts (for Turbo's, at least) are available now (bug eye/classic). They've been available for a few months now. The old ones were by Hayward and Scott (H&S).
Edited to say yes - I do have one.

Bought a new SS BB for my other halfs 03 WRX, sounds nice not loud so you could decat and center it and not have a problem with noise in the cabin. Looks the business as well

darms,
I put on BB (by Janspeed) in Dec, then did DP (also by Janspeed). Still retain original centre cat.
BB alone makes noise deeper but only slightly more audible, and is easily lost over wind and tyre noise. No significant performance change.
Add the DP and the noise becomes a real sound track for those fun roads. It maybe gets a touch noisey on long M'way trips at 80+ but unless you do a lot of this its not a problem.
The performance is noticably better with the DP, more low down pull and feels stonger above 5500.
If you put a straight through centre in it is quite a bit noisier without improving performance.
Quality is spot on and fit was straight forward apart from removing the old bolts which is a complete ****.
Pay someone else to do the DP if it has never been off before, they may have to drill and re-cut threads etc.

I have a UK Turbo, MY00. I've had the Scoobysport (Janspeed) backbox and Scoobysport decat centre section fitted. Had them done at the same time, so I can't describe the effect one component had on the sound independently. D/P is original.
The only comparisons I can draw are (1) to my own car with original BB/centre and (2) a mate's PPP'd Terzo (now sadly written off).
There's mild performance gains from the exhaust change on my car. It's highly subjective, though. I think you should make the change for the sound alone - it'll be the most apparent difference.
The SS kit sounds quite different between when the car's cold and when it's warmed up. Cold - it's quite harsh, resonant and metallic. When warmed it's more raspy, thudding.
The SS kit is louder than that which was fitted to the PPP'd Terzo. Presumably that was a Prodrive BB. Much more tonal and rasping.
Personally I didn't audition a large number of exhausts before my purchase. I'd heard the SS, liked it and bought on that plus reputation. Listen to more if you have the opportunity.
