..cant get the link cos of firewall restrictions so I'm not sure if its the correct one..

Does it bolt to intercooler?

If so -unbolt old one and replace with new one. Blank off large pipe with correct size bung - refit small hose to DV (IIRC im confused bout that) and make sure everythings tight..

Its very difficult to explain without pictures..

The springs also dictate how "jerky" the engine can be on lift off IIRC.

Thumbs up

is the yellow one softer than red and blue? (and therefore louder?)

may have to ask forge to send one over...hopefully for free as they never sent me one in the first...

Question

Hi all,

Just got this through the post. It only seems to have the big valve, 3 springs 4 silver disk type things and a blanking plug.

Is this all that i need??? there's no instructions for it, any ideas are very very welcome!!

It's for a MY99.

It looks the same as 'C' in this link

http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/products.asp?cat=TUNDV&product=FMDVV5012

Please tell me this will fit!!!!!!!?????????

Cheers.

Ali.

springs go inside the piston (which u open with an allen key)

They basically give the dump valve a different sound.(u can only use 1 spring at a time )

The DV in the pic u posted is definately for a 99 - as I have the same.

What colour are your springs? I only got a blue and red one so will be interested to know what this 3rd one is about - how does it rank in stiffness compared to the other two colours?
