what a sound!

Haven't been able to take it off the drive yet , but revved it and the coathanger-in-the-mouth smile came straight back!!!

and it's matched to a Scoobysport centre section...

Dan

can't wait till tomorrow!

The decat centre removes the cat and resonator if you go for one without a resonator . The PPP is a centre with a resonator and some you can buy with or without like a magnex.

I've got three section on my Sti8, which I had fitted prior to collection. Firestorm BB,TSL DEcat and resonator section. Sound nice, can t wait to add PPP. Dealer says £400 off as I have an exhaust and he will flog the Prodrive/Scorpion BB and cetre section

I have the same setup (but with a magnex centre) and I got a few pops whilst on a drive yesterday - I was quite shocked as I thought I'd had to do the whole decat to get that!

Get the exhaust really hot, (easier on a hot day!) and change down from say 40 in 3rd to 2nd...

Evening gents, I'm a little confused about zausts and the bits and bobs along with it., hope someone can avise me correctly.

I've just managed to score myself a HKS Hiper Muffler Mid and Back box & Flamer Kit , comes complete - Centre Section, Back Box.

Can I put this straight on with no worries or are there things I should be doing for engine safety, Say I need a re-map, can I put the back box on its own till funds allow the re-map etc.

Sorry to hijack yer thread but its along the same kind line.

cheers

dazza

good point Dazza - hope I don't need a re-map. Don't think so, coz in my case. I haven't changed the entire system (left the OEM downpipe).

Be interesting to see what the general feeling is

Phil - YES, I LOVE it!!!

Talking

I asked the same question a while back, just about to have the standard mid and rear replaced on my STi5 RA with a HKS Hiper system, as I'm leaving the catted downpipe on the general opinion was it will be fine.

I run Optimax and NF booster and wil be monitoring things with DeltaDash

No reason to remap with just the three back sections I have done this mod to the last three scoobs I've had with no problems including the current Sti8
